Thank God God, I Finish the Race: VSO RUN

As planed, aldz and i will leave aiias at 3.30am. we were suppose to take a public ride at 3am but aldz became the hero by bringing his car. we arrived in fort at 4.30am and that was too early. so i decided to have a warm up and stretching session.

i was talking with coach captain of team baldrunner when i saw wayne aka sfrunner approaching the booth with a brand new asics to be donated to donate a shoe project of baldrunner. nice to see you wayne.

i was hot and sweating when i entered the front of starting area. my running buddy, ivy macainan was there already. it’s been awhile i havent meet her. few minutes after that i saw baldrunner approaching the starting area, as usual, he was perspiring from a warm up an ready to rumble.

…and we were off

I finish the race in 1hour9minutes59seconds. I maintain 4.38-4.40 of my pace… despite of the lack of training in the past, i was able to finish the race comfortably. see the race result here.

and yes, meet the runner bloggers after the race is a must. my first encounter with philips aka foreignrunner, rununlmtd, markfb, manokan express, wayne aka sfrunner. Loonyrunner, yeah… it’s been awhile :) jay and of course the running icon baldrunner. to the one who run with me till the finish line, i’m sorry i forgot your name but you are very familiar for me. we start run together on the last few meter before going out of heritage park. i saw you in the previous 8th DND and mizuno run. it was great to meet and run with you. hope to see you next in clark… i understand that you don’t have a blog yet, and if you happen to read this blog, please have one or visit my friendster, i want to keep in touch with you.

the tolentino sisters, as usual dominated the race for female category. ellen become the champion of 10k and aileen place 2nd for 15k. ellen, go for a date and use your gift certificate!!! hehehe

congratulation also to jennifer who finish her first race. wish you more race to come and keep on running…

see you guys in clark!!!
