6th Animo Run 10k

First of all i want to thank yo to Pare Ronnie aka runnerforchrist for his kindness to register me for this 6th Animo Run 10k at MOA. I havent’ met Par Ronnie before. It was through friendster we became friends few months ago and then starts exchanging comments, messages and cellphone number. And yes, because we have the same passion in RUNNING. I’m so excited to see and run with him tomorrow.

My PR in 10k was 43minutes when i join the 2008 Clark International Marathon which was held early this year. hmm, i don’t know if i could break a new PR tomorrow. I don’t think the speed training of BaldRunner last Wednesday would give an immediate result for the race tomorrow since that was my first session. Perhaps, if i could increase my pace from 4.4 to 4.0, i could make it.

See you guys tomorrow in MOA and for those who will join the UNICEF Walk on the Child’s Side in MacKinley Hill, good luck!

  1. Hi Jerry. You’re resting right now but all the best on Sunday. The speed training will eventually give you great results and you might get some of it on Sunday.

I’ll watch out for your post. I’m doing a tempo run at a four mile race on Sunday, an unexpected development. Take care and have a good Sunday!

  2. Hi pareng Jerry…
Thanks a lot for mentioning my name here in your blog and its an honor to be a part of it…Whew! Seeing your pr really amazed me and i have this audacity to say that you’re indeed an elite runner in the making! keep it up bro and don’t hang up your running shoes. Keep on running while you have the guts, time,(money),and strength. Running will be over when it’s against your will. See you today in the race.
God bless you and your family.

  3. Hi Wayne,
The speed training was really work for my race this morning. Compare to my previous 10k was 45minutes and this morning it was very close to my PR…

    Ronnie,
It was good to see you this morning. Thanks a lot, bro… Hope to see you again. Kindly extends my warmest regards to your friends…
