Kinderdorf,

Thank you so much. That is the thing that i like in the Philippines. Runners cares as well as the spectators. It was happened to me when i joined The North Face 20k Trail Run. Several runners literally stop and took care of me. Unfortunately, i wasn't able to meet them after the race. There was a spectator that i saw when i join VSO Kabahagi Ako, standing on the side walk and keep on cheering and clapping his hand to the runners who passed him. He did that continually and you can imagine thousands of runners join the race that morning. Interestingly, i met that guy last sunday in roxas boulevard. He was so inspiring to us runners.

Congratulations for finishing the Milo Marathon! Whether running as a bandit or not, the important thing is that you had the courage to start and the will to finish.

The acts of kindness of the spectators and the racers is something we have to be proud of. If this happened in the US or elsewhere, you may have been left on your own until the medics will find you. A similar footage was published in Runners World. Nobody cared for the fallen runner. In the Philippines, it is different.

All the best for you and keep on running!

Wayne,
I saw your picture in the Philippines Star newspaper today. Actually it was issued last Saturday Nov 29, 08. Benjamin Chan aka Photographer on the Run was covered in two pages about his photography in running.

Annalenemb,
Thanks a lot. I wondering if your family was there too that morning. Hope to see you soon.

Bards,
That was really amazing race. I was really racing with clock at that time. On the last cramp when i was already in roxas blvrd, i was really praying hard that i could finish in sub 4hours.
Good luck for your singapore marathon, bards! bring us the story....
