On Friday December 12, i will be going to Indonesia for a three weeks vocation. The time in which i’ve been waiting for a little over four years. One thing that i’m so excited about this trip is to visit Bandung, a high altitude city, surrounded by many mountains. In fact, my place is located a little high from the city, right at the foot of Mt. Tangkuban Perahu and Mt. Burangrang.
… and that mean, high altitude running!
running through tea plantations to situlembang lake, passing clean rivers to the peaks of those mountain, arghh… i can’t wait to wear my tnf trail running gears.
Happy holidays everyone, keep on running and i’ll see you guys in Nasugbu on January 18 The North Face Thrill of the Trail

I’ll be running that same place when I go next year.. and i know how cold it gets.. eeeh.. and for you you’re going at this time of the year.! haha.. merry christmas man..
I was going to register last week for the TNF run but slots were already filled.. too bad..

Happy trip bro…see you in the tnf trail run this Jan 18, 2009…

I hope you get a great trip. Post some pics on your altitude training in your home town. Lets see if we can run together during the TNF100. What distance are you planning to run anyway?

Hey Jerry! Happy holidays and do have fun vacationing in your beautiful homeland of Indonesia. High altitude running will be excellent training for your next long race. If everything goes according to plan, I may be there to run one of the races in the Clark Marathon in 2010. Hope to run with you side by side for at least the first 500 meters (lol).
