I am Jerry Karundeng of Indonesia. Currently, staying in the Philippines for temporary.
It was back in the middle of 2007 when a friend of mine who later became my coach, introduced and converted me into this religion called ‘running’, Angelo Padua of Dagupan City.
I started running in August 2007 in preparation for Baguio Milo 21k Elimination on November 2007 and that was a run to remember…
Coming from my passion to the mountain, HighAltitude is chose to be the name of this blog.
Interestingly, my ultimate dream being a runner is not to be able to participate/qualify in Boston Marathon, as most runner wishes to, but to join Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon, the world’s highest marathon, from Everest basecamp (5,365m) – to Namche Bazar (3,440m).
Push beyond the limit – Never stop exploring!

Hi Jerry,
me and my wife are flying to Jakarta on Sunday. Our plan is to travel to Bali and back. Do you have any suggestions for trails that are worth running?
Thanks,

Hi Jerry,
I’m from Indonesia and just read your old blog comment regarding trail running route in Sukawana area. If you still have the trail route (or any other trail routes around Jakarta/West Java), do you mind sharing it with me? My email: diwidjaja at gmail dot com.
Thanks a lot in advance
